The Millau Viaduct spans the valley of the river Tarn and it is located near Millau in southern France. It is a massive cable stayed bridge and the tallest vehicular bridge. The highest pylons reach an amazing 1,125 feet into the sky which is a little taller than the Eiffel Tower. The speed limit on this bridge at one time was 81mph but it was slowed to 68mph due to tourists who wanted to take photos from the bridge.

The top of the bridge stands 440 feet above the Sydney Harbour and took eight years to complete. It opened in March of 1932. It also can raise up or fall up to 7.1 inches depending on the temperature because the steel expands and contracts.
